Reflection Summary

Task: ย After reviewing the resources below, you will complete an โ€œauditโ€ of your current workplace (or any prior workplace or a workplace of a friend or family member) in order to evaluate the level of religious diversity that exists.ย  You will then develop a poster that will be used to inform employees of the selected organizationโ€™s support for religious diversity (e.g. similar to an EEOC/labor poster).

Review the following:

1) The (chapter based) book excerpt focusing only on the following pages (although feel free to read the entire contents as you have time) โ€“ the link is presented below, but it is also uploaded under the Content section (immediately below the reflection summary instructions).

Page 1, Pages 5 and 6

2) The publication, โ€œReligion and Corporate Cultureโ€ โ€“ briefly review this focusing on primary areas and โ€œhighlightsโ€ and also you can use this as a supporting guide for what you will submit as your assignment.

Religion and Corporate Culture. (2008). Retrieved 2020, from https://www.shrm.org/hr-today/trends-and-forecasting/research-and-surveys/documents/08-0625religionsr_updtfinal.pdf

Complete the following:

Referring to your current workplace (or any prior workplace or a workplace of a friend or family member), complete an โ€œauditโ€ and evaluate the level of religious diversity that exists.

Based upon your assessment, create a poster that will be used to inform employees of the selected organizationโ€™s support for religious diversity.ย  For example, this would be a poster similar to an EEOC/labor poster that you may view in work break areas, or posters presenting information, announcements, events, etc. in the workplace.

You can use MS PowerPoint (or you can create a Prezi presentation, and you would share the link) to create a one-page โ€œposterโ€.ย  If any of you may also have experience with MS Publisher or similar software, feel free to use these options as well, and please make sure that it is able to be viewed.

Be creative!ย  Please avoid simply presenting bullet point sentences; include color, graphics, different fonts, or anything else that will make your poster stand out and make a statement.
